Gardener's Journal is your day-by-day diary and record keeper for your gardening activities. You can make it as simple as you want with text only, or fancy up your journal with video, graphics and sound.

When the program opens, you are presented with your journal entries from over the years for the same day. This helps you to compare various years for weather conditions, planting cycles and your crop conditions. Journal information may also include the moon stage, the amount of rain and the high and low temperatures for the day.

You can maintain seed information, such as type of seeds and where seeds were purchased, and plant information including common or scientific names of plants, type of plant and an image of the plant. Fancy Searching allows you to hunt through all your text entries for keywords, making it easy to find notes made over the years.

The program enables you to preview your report within the Gardener's Journal, then print it if you wish. By simply clicking one button, you can turn your journal into a fully functional web site with your written, audio and visual entries available.

Grow'Em 2000 is plant-propagation software made freely available to the public for personal use. It contains extensive and well-illustrated information on propagating plants from seeds, cuttings, by layering and other popular and lesser-known methods. Exhaustive plant-specific information is provided for 1000-plus entries in seven categories including fruits and vegetables, herbs, trees and shrubs, cacti and succulents, and water plants. Composting, fertilizers, raised beds and cold frames, lighting, row covers, drainage and irrigation, grafting and other subjects are among the subjects featured.

Grow'Em is an easy-to-use resource, easily searchable, and includes a metric-to-standard conversion function. Grow'Em requires a system running at least Windows 95, an SVGA card capable of at least 640 x 480 x 256 colour resolution (a true-colour display is ideal), and a hard drive with at least 5 MB free.

Using SeedPlanner you can:

Keep track of the seeds you currently own using the Inventory View.

Plan and track your seed growing season using the Timeline View. Once you provide your local Growing Conditions (frost dates) you can interactively change your season's sowing plan. The Timeline View uses restrictions based on your growing conditions to show at what times of the year you can grow each plant in your plan.

View your seed inventory and sowing plan in many useful ways using Custom Views. For example, you could view all your seeds for perennial plants, or all seeds acquired in a given year.

Display or modify the contents of SeedPlanner's plant database using the Database Browser. You can add information about plants that may not be in SeedPlanner's database, or modify information based on your seed growing experiences for your garden. See Growing Information for details.

The Database Browser also supports searching and filtering, which allow you to quickly find plants with specific attributes such as hardiness, type, height, spread, etc. See Filtering in the Database Browser.

Create a Logbook, where you can record your seed growing activities for future reference.

Create web pages for use on the Internet or with applications which support HTML. Any Inventory or Timeline View, the Logbook, Growing Information, or view in the database browser can be saved as a web page. See Creating Web pages.
