Lawns

 

Most gardens have a lawn. They make a neutral foreground to a colourful border. They have a restful effect on the eye and make a wonderful play area for children and pets and an area to relax for adults.

Unfortunately they can also be one of the most neglected areas in the garden. People tend to forget that grass is a plant and needs the same, if not even more, care and attention than other plants in the garden, especially if it is well used.
