Revisions and Site History

This Website was first started in June of 1998 and first uploaded on the 27th June 1998.

The original site only consisted of a small website for the Sale Horticultural and Allotment Society and was very basic. I continued to do work on it in bits and pieces. The last upload of this section was on the 16th February 1999. This section was removed in August 1999 when I resigned from the committee.

Since then I have been concentrating on the main site.

As the site got bigger I decided to add this revision page to keep track of the various updates.

27th February 2001 Given an Award of Merit by Webstudy for the childrens section.

10th July 2000 Due to problems with the UK-rec ring, I had to redo the Index page and put a direct link to the 'My Garden' pages.

20th June 2000 Added the 'My Garden' section.

6th June 2000 Joined the Garden Web Ring.

September 1999 Stopped using Frontpage. It increased the size of the site too much. I also found that the links would not work properly.
I eventually reinstalled Word 97 and started to rebuild each page.

August 1999 After installing Office 2000, I found that many of the pages did not work so I had to do a major site overhaul. Started to use Frontpage to help keep track of the site.

August 1999 Due to my resignation from the Horticultural Society Committee, I have removed the S.H.A.S. Section.

August 1999 Added Fruit section.

22 June, 1999 Added Herbs section.

20th April 1999 Joined UK Recreational Garden Webring and added Links etc. to Index page.

Inserted backgrounds and title graphics to all Diary and Project pages and also increased the text size. ( Ie4.0 was showing up smaller than Netscape)
