The Trade Association for manufacturers and suppliers of plants, products and services to commercial horticulture world-wide.
Established in 1978 the CHA works in conjunction with the Ministry for Agriculture (DEFRA) and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI).

The Cyclamen Society
The Cyclamen Society exists to encourage cultivation and conservation, and to disseminate and extend knowledge of the genus Cyclamen and its species, forms and cultivars. It combines scientific study with all the activities of a society for enthusiasts who cultivate the plants.
The Society was formed in England in January 1977 and now has over 1600 members. Although it is based in the United Kingdom, it has a world-wide membership.

- is the Government Agency that champions the conservation of wildlife and geology throughout England.

The Garden History Society
The Garden History Society is widely recognised for its expertise and advice. It promote the study of the history of gardening, landscape gardening and horticulture in all aspects and promotes the protection and conservation of historic parks, gardens and designed landscapes, and to advise on their restoration.

Geoff Hamiltons Barnsdale Gardens

Giverney and Vernon Gardens

Claude Monet's house and gardens for lovers of Impressionist painting and gardens. "The gardens have been replanted as they once were and offer for the admiration of visitors the "painting from nature" which Claude Monet's contemporaries considered one of his masterpieces.

The Henry Doubleday Research Association(HDRA)

Concerned with research into organic gardening and sustainable horticultural practices. They have gardens at Ryton near Coventry and Yalding in Kent both of which are worth visiting. HDRA publish many useful books and pamphlets on organic gardening and related subjects.

The Heather Society
Founded in 1963, to promote and encourage interest in heathers, it now has worldwide membership covering Europe, Africa, the Americas, Australasia and the Far East.

National Council for the Conservation of Plants and Gardens
The NCCPG is almost entirely a voluntary organisation. Its foundation stone is the vast numbers of all sorts and conditions of people scattered through the regions who are mad about plants and gardens. Such people combine a genuine passion to learn with the generosity to share.

The National Rose Society
The Royal National Rose Society, founded in 1876, is the world's leading specialist plant Society, with a flourishing world wide membership. As well as helping to fund the development and promotion of the rose, the society plays a vital role in conserving an important part of our plant heritage.

The National Trust
The National Trust was founded in 1895 by three Victorian philanthropists - Miss Octavia Hill, Sir Robert Hunter and Canon Hardwicke Rawnsley. Concerned about the impact of uncontrolled development and industrialisation, they set up the Trust to act as a guardian for the nation in the acquisition and protection of threatened coastline, countryside and buildings.

From its foundation in 1804, the Royal Horticultural Society has grown to be the world’s leading horticultural organisation and the UK's leading gardening charity. We at the RHS continue our commitment to gardeners through inspirational flower shows, gardens, and over 1,000 lectures and demonstrations throughout the UK.

Sir Harold Hillier Gardens & Arboretum

The Soil Association

The Soil Association is the UK's leading campaigning and certification body for organic food and farming. They develop and provide practical and sustainable solutions which combine food production and environmental protection and human health.

Thrive
Thrive is the national horticultural charity that exists to enable disadvantaged, disabled and older people to participate fully in the social and economic life of the community. They support a network of specialist projects that run programmes of horticultural activity for training and employment, therapy and health. They also provide expert advice on easier and accessible gardening for everyone, including older or mobility-restricted people, through their website.
