Gardeners Diary for the month of

Greenhouse

Bring potted Chrysanthemums into the greenhouse to prevent damage by frost.
Prick out any annuals sown earlier in the month. Make sure they get as much light as possible to prevent them from getting drawn and leggy.
Sow seeds of Antirhinums, Clarkias, Cornflowers, Godetia, Nemesia and Salpiglossis for over wintering in the greenhouse or coldframe.
Sweet peas can be sown in pots for early flowering next year.
Ensure that the glass is kept clean to allow as much light as possible to enter.
Remove bulbils from lilies and pot them up.
Clear away any Tomato plants that have finished fruiting.
Pot up bulbs for late winter or early spring use indoors.
Bring Arum Lilies into the greenhouse to prevent any frost damage.
