Water plants need
to be fed if they are to grow well. This is especially important if they
have not been repotted for a couple of years. Feed by placing sachets
of water plant food into the soil.
Ponds may turn green
with algae at this time of the year. If this happens add more oxygenating
plants or try using barley straw mats.
