Apply a weed and
feed in granular or liquid form. If using granular feed, water in after
48 hours if it has not rained otherwise it may scorch the grass.
Repair any patches
before the weather gets too hot and dry.
Continue to cut and
edge lawns regularly
Cut at least weekly
and trim the edges.
Unwanted grasses
and weeds will be growing freely by this time and now is a good time to
apply a selective lawn weedkiller. Some proprietary weedkillers contain
a fertiliser as well and if these are used the lawn will be fed at the
same time.
Grass will probably
be growing fast now and should be cut twice a week.
