Greenhouse

Give the greenhouse a thorough clean.
Clean all pots and trays ready for use.
Pot on autumn sown Sweet Peas into 3" pots.
Plant Lily bulbs in pots for use on the patio or as fillers in gaps in the borders.
Sow seeds of carrots, onions and lettuce in heated propagator for early crops.
Wash the outside of the glass to ensure maximum light penetration.
Take cuttings of Chrysanthemums.
Clean heaters and ensure that they are in good order for use.
Bring pot grown Strawberries into the greenhouse for earlier crops.
Sow Onion seed if not done in December. Prick out seedlings sown in December.
If the greenhouse is heated and a temperature of 65F can be maintained, sow Tomato seeds.
Start fuchsia plants into growth by increasing the temperature to 50F(10C) and cutting the stems down by half. Water lightly if the compost is dry.
Take cuttings of perpetual flowering carnations.
