- Spray fruit trees with a winter tar wash. Choose a dry day when their is no wind .
- Burn all tree prunings to prevent spread of any disease or pests.
- Inspect grease bands for signs of damage.
- There is not much to be done with fruit at this time of the year, but, if not already done continue with the pruning.
- Prune grape vines now that they are dormant.
- If not already done, spray with winter tar wash.
- Apply Sulphate of Potash at the rate of 4oz per tree. This will help the tree to fruit and will help in the ripening of the fruit next year.
