• Continue to sow seeds of Half Hardy Annuals and prick out seedlings of previously sown plants.
• Sow seeds of tomatoes to be used outdoors later in the summer.
• Sow Celery and Celeriac seeds.
• Plant up hanging baskets so that they are well established when they are put out. (Keep free of frost).
• Take tip cuttings of fuchsias to increase stocks. Feed overwintered plants.
• Stop watering cyclamen when the flowers and leaves wither and keep tubers dry until July when they should be repotted.
• Pot on dahlia cuttings that were taken last month.
• Sow Sweet corn and Marrow/Courgette/Cucumber seeds in cells or 3" pots.
• Continue to prick out half hardy annual seedlings and start to harden off during the day.
• Shade seedlings in sunny periods.
• There is still time to sow some fast growing annual like marigolds or zinnias.
• Make up hanging baskets ready for putting out next month.
• Stake pot grown Lilies to prevent them falling over.
• Remove side shoots of early sown Tomatoes. Once the first fruits have formed begin feeding weekly with tomato fertiliser.
• Sow French beans and runner beans in pots.
• Sow seeds of Cucumbers and Melons.
• Move young plants of outdoor Chrysanthemums to a cold frame for hardening off.
• Transplant seedlings as required and ventilate the greenhouse when possible to avoid diseases forming.
